Merkins by Morgan emerged in response to the prevailing wave of greenwashing that permeated the fashion industry. In an era where sustainability became a trend, countless products surfaced, purporting to be eco-friendly while lacking genuine commitment or acknowledgement of the wasteful processes that go into creating them. Determined to address this issue, I embarked on a mission to repurpose the discarded remnants accumulated throughout my extensive career in fashion design. So, I transformed literal garbage into unique–and fabulous–accessories.
